Q: There is no vacancy in my state.Can i apply for a nearby state?
A: You can apply for vacancies in any given state or union territory but must appear for exam from a centre of that chosen state.It is also necessary to read/write & speak the language of that state.
Q: What are the minimum educational qualifications?
A: Those applying for this clerk recruitment should have passed in degree OR must have scored 60% marks aggregate in HSC(12th std) or equivalent, as on 1.1.2011
Q: My XII mark is 55% & 60% in degree.Am I eligible?
A: Pass in degree is enough to become eligible for applying (provided u satisfy other conditions as well)
Q: Is computer certificate compulsory for all candidates?
A: Although knowledge of computer operations is required, certificate in computer operations from an institute should be submitted only by those who have not studied computer science in degree.
Q:I am in final semester of degree.Am i eligible to apply?
A:You must have completed 12th or degree as on Jan 1, 2011.If in final sem, It is possible to apply with your std.XII marks but have to complete the degree before joining bank as it would not be possible to attend college after appointment.
