Actor Katrina Kaif on Thursday abandoned media reports about possessing ' unaccounted money," issuing a statement 3 days after the Income Tax sleuths raided her homes for alleged tax evasion.
The reports about Katrina's "unaccounted income" were false, as she said.
Whist admitting a search was conducted by the IT department at her house, Katrina Kaif's chartered firm said: "My client is disturbed by the speculative reports circulating in the media that she has disclosed (to the department) unaccounted income running into crores, and unaccounted lockers were found."
"Katrina is fully cooperating with the IT Department, whom she holds in high regard."
Besides the house of Katrina, IT officials searched the houses of Priyanka Chopra, premises of Chopra's father, Matrix, a celeb management company that handles Kaif's endorsement, photographer Atul Kasbekar, and Chand Misra, Chopra's personal assistant.

After generous chic Western clothing for her role as a hairstylist in Karan Johar's Short Term Shaadi, Kareena Kapoor will go cultural for Atul Agnihotri's Bodyguard.
She plays a don's beti in the latter and will mostly Indian traditional clothes as well as bright kurtas with a lots of oxidised jewellery. Bodyguard, directed by Siddique, is an version of a hit Malayalam film.
Bebo has been styled by Manish Malhotra for both films. Says a UNOFICAIL source, "MM has given her a very different look in Bodyguard, as she plays a college-going girl who is also a don's daughter.
So she wears bright and colourful Pakistani long kurtas with block print salwars. Kareena is known to be a fashion icon having started the Geet kurtis in Jab We Met.
This will start a new fashion for youngsters too of long Pakistani kurtas with high slits and big ghera salwars."
The Kapoor gal will accessories with silver antique oxidised jewellery, beaded bags and accessories. "There are lots of metallic and thread work bangles to add an Indian touch.

Kareena Kapoor has supposedly replaced Priyanka Chopra in the forth coming film Dostana-2 where she is cast opposite Abhishek Bachchan. Priyanka who was previously cast for the project has apparently lost it out to Kareena Kapoor.
Kareena Kapoor had debuted with Bachchan junior in 2000 in J.P Dutta's 'Refugee', where she sashayed the role of a village belle.
After that she had developed inhibitions to work with Abhishek Bachchan due to her sister Karisma Kapoor's broken connection with him.
However now since things have cooled down noticeably with Abhishek happily married and Karisma settled into her own world, Kareena and Abhishek have again decided to give their careers a different path and shed all inhibitions for professional reasons.
Reports doing the rounds suggest that the two are also going to be paired in another film which will be directed by Abbas Mastaan(“Rase”). Kareena Kapoor has previously worked with the directors in 2001 in the flick Ajnabi with Akshay Kumar, Bobby Deol and Bipasha Basu in pivotal roles.
Kareena Kapoor appeared in a whole load of movies after that with films like Mujhe Kuch Kehna Hai, Asoka, Yaadein, Khusi, Mein Prem Ki Deewani Hun etc. But she was recognized for her talent after she appeared as the oh...So stylish Poo in KJO's Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham and then her very strong role in 'Chameli' as the prostitute where she won the Filmfare award for Special Award. Income Tax Raids on Priyanka & Katrina
Income Tax sleuths swooped on the office and home of Bollywood megastars Katrina Kaif and Priyanka Chopra Monday morning in connection with suspected tax evasion cases, an official said.
The raids started around 7.30 a.m. at the same time at 12 sites, as well as the residences of the two actresses in the western suburbs. Priyanka's home in Versova, Andheri West, was raided.
Also raided were the homes of their secretaries, their respective office premises and other locations, the authorized said.
The IT branch is investigating whether the two actresses have paid taxes proportionate to their known sources of income during the past year.
Both Katrina and Priyanka are high ranking Bollywood actresses who work with top stars and leading film banners, moreover endorsing top brands and participating in the major stage shows in India

My Name Is Khan is the highest grossing film from bollywood in the united states. That is big achievement for both, as their film is considered for the Oscar award which they didn’t expect. Why not My Name Is Khan is liked by the American citizens when this movie is relevant to them, as it is the story based on 9/11 attack in the USA.
