Ranbir Kapoor to be signed up for Hero Group

Break ups are becoming more common for the Hero Group. After breaking up with their 25 year partner – Honda, The Hero Group is also breaking up with their brand ambassador Hrithik Roshan and signing up Ranbir Kapoor as a replacement.
The reason for the change is because the Hero Group wants to change its brand image and wants to focus on the youth. This corporate tra­nsformation also includes a change in brand name, positioning and bra­nd buil­ding over the next few years.

The new strategy consists of promoting independent brands like Splendor, Passion, Pleasure and Karizma ZMR instead of promoting individual brands. The company has also started building bikes without the Honda brand name, according to vendors.
Anirban Das Blah, MD and CEO at Kwan Entertainment and Marketing Solutions, a company that is responsible for Ranbir’s endorsement deals, did not deny the development but did not give out details of the Hero deal.
Let’s hope Ranbir can work the same magic as he did for the Nissan Micra.

Double role: Ranbir Kapoor to play 17th century warrior

Actor to play a 17th century warrior in 'Magadheera' remake

After pulling off an affable Sardarji in Rocket Salesman Of The Year and attempting a rock guitarist in Rockstar, Ranbir Kapoor now moves on to playing a 17th century a warrior in the Hindi remake of the 2009 Telugu blockbuster Magadheera. 

The director of the original S S Rajamouli has been retained for the R 90 crore reboot. With reincarnation as the central theme, it is set in contemporary times and in medieval times as well. 

It features RK in his first-ever double role. The actor is expected to train in sword-fighting and at least three strains of martial arts for the part.

Ghajini producer Madhu Manthena will produce the Hindi remake.

Says an insider, "The Hindi remake required a sinewy yet lean look and a sombre persona and a fantastic actor who could look convincing in both avatars. Ranbir was the only choice for the role. Only he fitted the bill."

The source continues, "Ranbir was floored by the concept of the warrior in the Mughal dynasty. He has never done a costume drama before. As a child, his favourite film used to be a fantasy film called Rani Aur Lalparee.

Ranbir watched the film umpteen times as a child. He now gets a chance to live out an old-world fantasy."

While Ranbir remained unavailable for comment, producer Madhu says, "At the moment, it is too early to comment."

Deepika to do a film with Ranbir!

It's finally happening. After much dilly-dallying, Deepika Padukonehas agreed to be a part of Ayan Mukherjee's film with ex Ranbir Kapoor. It seems Deepika was very keen on being part of the project and kept calling Ayan day in and out to cast her in the project.

 

Finally after doing a narration, the Wake Up Sid director decided she was the perfect choice. We wonder if the two exes working together will take  all the attention away from the film.
 

Ranbir and Katrina on a date!

Kat has been cribbing how the press goes on and on about her relationship with Ranbir without any photographic evidence. So we did the needful 

On Monday, we read in a section of the media that she is genuinely tired of news reports of her proximity to Ranbir Kapoor and she says the reports are even more disturbing because no one really has any photographic evidence of them together. 

As soon as we read this, we sent our sleuths scouting for the evidence, which Katrina so categorically wished to be presented.

A bitchy actress who was in attendance at Karan Johar's party is pretty overwhelmed with Anushka Sharma, the go-getter. 

The BBB girl hit the floor with a vengeance. When her special friend Ranveer Singh sidled up next to her, she overlooked him, and put the moves on Ranbir Kapoor. 

She was undeterred by the fact that his current girl Katrina Kaif was right there, as was his ex Deepika Padukone, as also Nandita Mahtani. 

Don't be shocked if you hear an announcement of a Ranbir-Anushka film now.
